The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is one of the largest sand sculpting festivals in the world! Master sand sculptors come from all over the world to compete.
The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival is a renowned annual event that transforms the shores of Revere Beach into an awe-inspiring boardwalk and open-air festival.
Celebrating its 20th year in 2024, this festival gathers world-class sand sculptors who showcase their incredible talents to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
Drawing diverse audiences and families from all over the world, the festival is a vibrant celebration of artistry, culture, and community.
Beyond the sand sculptures, the event features over 75 food vendors, food trucks, and exhibitors, live music, interactive activities, amusement rides, fireworks, and a vibrant atmosphere, creating a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.
As a beloved tradition, the festival serves as a testament to the power of creativity and collaboration, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for the arts along the picturesque coastline of Revere Beach.
Come on down to America’s first public beach and enjoy the magnificent sand sculpting competition, delicious Food Trucks and Vendors, and amusements and fun for the whole family!
Plus, don’t miss the spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night.
In addition to the judges selections, there is a people’s choice award, allowing festival goers to vote on their favorite sculpture.
In past years, the event has drawn over an estimated 1 million attendees and has been a staple Summer event for so many for the past 20 years.
Along with amazing sand sculptures, the festival also includes fireworks, live entertainment, food trucks/stands, children's activities, and amusement rides.
The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival presented by Revere Beach Partnership is the largest free event in Massachusetts.

Revere Beach is accessible from the Blue Line via Wonderland or Revere Beach stops. Free parking and shuttle service to the T will be available at Suffolk Downs. Parking is also available at the Wonderland Garage.
